AD067-5 HEADPHONE MONITOR

The AD067-05 enables the camera operator to monitor, via headphones, the audio signal being sent to camera.

The device is very small (85x55x25mm), light (90gm excluding battery) and has the necessary fixings to enable it to be mounted underneath the camera or between camera and tripod. It interfaces with many of the microphones in use with the DSLR Camera. A typical example of such a microphone is the Rode Videomic Pro as illustrated in the picture. Mono or stereo units are available.

The microphone being used is fed into the AD067-05 and the fed back out again into the camera. This allows the unit to tap-off the microphone signal into a headphone amplifier. There is a level control allowing the operator to set the ideal signal strength into the headphones in use. Headphones having an impedance of 25 ohms or above can be used. All connectors, microphone and headphone, are on 3.5mm stereo jack sockets.

The devise is battery operated with an internal PP3 cell. A red LED indicates the unit is on and also indicates when the battery requires changing. Power consumption is low, thus battery life is very long
